The Hopeful Hyacinth In the Victorian language of flowers, Hyacinths could convey a wide array of emotions — from steadfast love to jealousy, sorrow to joy, loss to celebration.

Today, the Hyacinth is very dear to my heart. It is to me a flower full of hope. Of the cyclical ways of our lives. How we are constantly in a spiral of growth and evolution, wherein we may find ourselves in the same situation again and again but each time it is us who are different. Each repetition another chance to break free from karmic cycles by recognizing how we have changed.
