The Story of Nyati & Mianzi: Part 1

There once was a Buffalo named Nyati. His best friend was a green and beige striped snake named Mianzi. It was an odd and unusual friendship that the other animals at the watering hole often joked about. Yet they were inseparable.

One day, Nyati felt ill from the scorching heat of the sun.

"I feel I might faint!" He complained to Mianzi.

But the watering hole had dried up, and they were hearing of morbid tales of friends perishing from the awful heatwave.

"Oh, when will this end?" Mianzi cried out to the heavens. Being a snake, he bore the heat easily by burrowing underground. But he was terrified of losing his friend. (Read Part 2)

 

This beautiful pen design is handcrafted 100% from natural and ethically sourced buffalo horn material. Each piece of natural horn has its own color variation which makes each pen truly one of a kind. Inspired by the Endless Serengeti plains which run from Kenya to Tanzania.
