Gravitas Fountain Pen - Dinkey - Tungsten Polished

The fountain pen is small, portable, and handy, placing emphasis on the material from which it is made. It showcases a unique range of materials that, up until now, have not been offered in the Gravitas lineup.

The Tungsten alloy used in the Dinkey contains copper, offering excellent thermal conductivity and plasticity. Its grey color is accentuated by a satin texture and a distinctive metallic scent, reminiscent of the smell of a US penny. For its size, the Dinkey Tungsten has a noticeable heft, setting it apart in the Dinkey lineup. When Polished*, the copper content of the alloy is subdued, revealing more of the tungsten’s grey, satin-like finish. (*Polishing this alloy gives it a grey satin texture, while leaving it unpolished from the machine results in a shiny copper appearance.)

The Dinkey’s inner cap is lined with Delrin to prevent scratches when posting. The section, made from copper, features an o-ring at the threading point with the barrel, and the section is threaded to be compatible* with a Jowo size #6 nib unit (standard steel Jowo nib).

The writing point is a Gravitas steel nib, available in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad options, supported by a standard plastic feeder. Accompanied by a custom-designed plastic tube, this fountain pen perfectly combines style and functionality in a sleek, compact design.
