Leonardo × @karynalovestoplan - Winter Sunrise Fountain Pen

Winter can be a long and cold six months where I live, with shorter days and little sunlight. One of my joys is capturing the beautiful sunrise, which makes the early morning walks in freezing weather worthwhile.

These walks fill all of my senses. My sense of sight when I see the colours of periwinkle to pink to purple to orange and even brown; my sense of touch when the chill of the cold hits your skin; my sense of hearing with the crunch of the snow beneath your feet; my sense of smell when I breathe the clean air, and even my sense of taste if you dare to eat the freshly fallen snow. There is a serene peacefulness that can be found in something so simple as a winter walk.

I wanted to represent the beautiful colours of the skies, as well as the subtle sparkle of freshly fallen snow. This pen combines the beautiful pinks and browns and subtle sparkles I see during my walks. While you may not want to experience the -20C weather that comes with these sunrises, you can at least own this pen!
