Pennonia Ink Bottle (60ml) - Zuzmó (Lichen)

Like the simple lichen, this ink also comes in many different shades and colors. If you have read some of the other descriptions you’ve probably noticed that most of the inks have a connection to childhood experiences and it’s the same with this one as well.

Inks have the unique ability to bring back long lost memories and evoke nostalgic experiences. For instance, gathering sticks in the forest, building campfires, and using branches as swords can all be triggered by this ink. It also has the power to reveal old markings on ancient rocks and foundations of buildings from centuries past.

This ink is a part of a mini-series of shading inks, which work particularly well with brushes, brush pens and dip pens. They truly come to life when used in writing instruments from which the inks can gush onto paper. Of course they are also great for fountain pen sketches and even handwriting but the effect is more subdued thanks to the nature of these shading inks. One mantra that is good to keep in mind: the broader and wetter the nib, the better.

Regarding shimmer powders: If you decide to add shimmer powder to your ink order please note that these inks may clog your pen or make it hard to clean. Only use shimmering inks if you are willing to accept the downsides that come with it. We recommend using dip pens or fountain pens that are easy to disassemble and clean thoroughly.
