Gravitas Fountain Pen - Sentry - Raw Copper

Meet the upgraded Sentry fountain pen, the larger sibling of Gravitas' entry-level model. Though slightly heavier than its counterpart, the Sentry remains comfortable and user-friendly, thanks to its well-balanced, weighted section. With triple-start cap ACME thread profile, the cap smoothly disengages with just 2.25 turns, the delrin sleeve of the cap protects the surface of the barrel when posting. 

The 25mm-long section, tapering from 13.25mm to 11.5mm, is expertly crafted from Stainless Steel alloy PvD coated in black and features finely machined circular grooves for an enhanced grip. Machined from a single block of Copper the cap and the barrel, this material will age* according to use and handling - this is a natural process of the Copper and makes your pen unique to yourself.

*due to the nature of the material this pen may arrive to have some more or less patina showing (this is not a valid condition aspect for a call on warranty or considering it used - its a reversible process that you can address by polishing this pen with a jewellers cloth and maintain it shiny)

The recent upgrade for the Sentry brought two o-rings, one on the section that maintains a tight seal preventing the section from coming off when its not needed and one on the barrel that prevents the cap from accidentally coming off.

The Sentry is equipped with a Gravitas-produced size 6 steel nib, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads, and an ABS plastic feeder. It offers a range of nib options, including Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. Each Sentry pen comes provided with a standard international plug in cartridge converter.

*when swapping for a different nib unit you are sole responsible for checking the fitment of the new nib - we are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of non gravitas nibs/nib units.
